About me
This is for me, fulfilling a dream I have had for many years. Taking pictures has always been a hobby to me, being the family photographer, documenting every event with hundreds of pictures to remember every second of every day. I don't remember a time without having a camera as an extension of my right arm. I remember my sister asking me one time, "why do you take so many pictures? All you need of your kids is one picture a year, as they don't change THAT much"!!!!
I was ...needless to say.....left without words to answer that.
I have in the past few years, taken my hobby to the next level and working hard on my skills as a photographer. I have had the great good fortune to befriend a local photographer that has taken me under his wing as a student and together we spend many hours together in the quest for a great photo. He has taught me much in the past few years, one of the most important being patience which is invaluable to a photographer. Many times, just that extra few minutes makes the difference between a good photo and a great photo. He has taught me to look for the little things along the path, and together we have learned to photograph from many different angles. I believe in teaching me, he has learned as well.
Thank you Paul!!
and thank you Barb for loaning your husband to me for so many hours.
And finally, just a tribute to my mom, who gave me my creativity. The pink is for her, she loved everything pink.
I miss you mom.
